This is a bonus page but if you have been to Glendale then you do have to go back through Dunvegan to get back to the real world anyway. In no particular order we have the following :-
Known to the locals as "the retail therapy building"
which includes the Gun & Tackle shop , Cal-Mart Discount and the Tourist Information Centre.
In the Village street we see the Fruit & Nut Place
Top quality fresh fruit , vegetables ,wholefood , plus many other interesting items to eat and enjoy.
Now incl. flowers and fair trade etc , plus a new branch in Struan , locals , tourist and businesses are welcomed by Tony Warby .
Two petrol stations (one hiring videos), Fasgadh Stores (lottery tickets here), Craft/gift shop , the Giant MacAskill Museum , Community Hall , Public toilets and car park make up the village centre and also worth a call is the Bakery with a conservatory coffee shop. It is just opposite the Old School House Restaurant.
If you didn't stop on the way into Glendale you must call on the way out.
The Budge Family , Daisy , Pamela and Donald will give you a warm welcome at the Croft Studio , just outside the village on your way to Portree via Edinbane. Watercolours , prints and cards , wallhangings inspired by the beauty and culture of Skye and Celtic manuscripts
